The content of the de Lyublyn album are compositions from the Tablature of Jan of Lublin, the largest keyboard tablature of Renaissance Europe. The album is breakthrough. This is the first album in the history of phonography, which was filled with recordings made on a copy of a historical harpsichord, tuned in the temperament of discussed Tablature. On the disc you will find music of various origins and destinations – from secular works based on folk melodies, through German dances, to the intavolation of Italian motets. de Lyublyn is a renaissance music by Polish and foreign composers, but the major part of the album is anonymous music. Surprising value is also presented by anonymous compositions without titles.
The album was recorded in May 2018 on a copy of Honforio Guarracino harpsichord (Naples, circa 1690). Pitch: a’= 465hz, temperament from the Tablature of Jan of Lublin.
