The Clavicembalisti XVII album is a phonographic debut of Maksymilian Święch. The album consists of baroque Italian masters, representatives of different music centres: Venice, Ferrara, Naples and Rome. The recordings are an interesting selection of keyboard music, Providing stylistic diversity of Italian XVII-century repertoire. We will find here pieces according to the archaic principles of Renaissance polyphony as well as compositions in the newer style.

 

The album was recorded on the copy of the Honforio Guarracino from Naples, ca. 1690.
